I’m a stay-at-home dad. My daughter was going into kindergarten. I needed to find a job where I could work from 8 to 2. Where I can have 9 weeks off in the summer. Or I can have 2 weeks off at Christmas. A week off in September. And on, and on. And selling cruises was perfect for that. So she has grown up in this business. Loves to travel. We travel at least once every year. She’s got more frequent flyers miles than I do. And we just got back. Last Thanksgiving we went to the Galapagos islands where we had an amazing time. And that 15 year old never looked at her phone once, except to take pictures. That flexibility has been great. You know, staying at home. But also I will tell you… …what’s been successful to me is I’m more out of my home now than I ever was as just a stay-at-home dad. Because you do need to network. You do need to get out and meet the people. And that’s what I do. But I’m also home for my daughter to cook dinner every night. To take her to soccer practice. Never have I ever thought I could be a successful business person, a stay-at-home dad and a world traveler. Cruise Planners, work from home, be your own boss, travel the world.
